Microsemi TimeProvider 4100

TimeProvider 4100 is a new class of synchronization product that accepts multiple inputs from Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE), and 1588 PTP and E1/T1 digital transmission links, and distributes timing flows to multiple end points such as base stations.

The ePRTC is designed to meet ITU-T G.8272.1 for enhanced Primary Reference Time Clocks and provides a unique solution to help protect telecom and mobile networks against GNSS vulnerabilities. It delivers an autonomous, secure and fault tolerant reference for time, phase and frequency synchronization by producing its own timescale which is driven by high performance Cesium frequency standards and aligned with GNSS time.
